My opinion of the top five DotA (Defence of the Ancients) heroes.
Bone Fletcher
Yes, the Bone Fletcher. Everyone's favorite skeleton, archer...thing.
With many combos from his spells, he has an easy time getting away. Whether it's Wind Walk, which gives you the ability to turn invisible for a short period, or Death Pact, which allows you to consume a friendly creep, this hero has a way with running away...hey that rhymes!
Wind Walk can be used for more than just running away. Using the combo of Searing arrows, Stafe, and Wind Walk, he can easily ambush other heroes.
He is so easy to play, it doesn't even matter what gear you have for him, although having items like Power Treads and Buriza could help boost his overall damage.
Dragon Knight
Hey, what's up little fellow...ahhhhhhh ITS A DRAGON!
Dragon Knight is another great hero not really because of his skills, but rather because of his elder dragon forms. Yes, as soon as you get it at level 6, you'll want to transform into him as soon as possible right. Not exactly. Heroes on the opposing team watch you turn into a dragon just to take down a wave of creeps, and right when you turn back into davion, they strike. It's not like you don't stand a chance against them as Davion, just that it's easier for them. Anyway, he doesn't really have any special ability in dragon form, just the range and the splash/slow effect later on. Nevertheless he deals a crazy amount of damage and it shouldn't be hard taking anyone down with him in dragon form.
This isn't much of a move combo but, when in dragon form, when and if a hero tries to run away, you can dragon tail them for a stun and if the stun wears off, you can throw a finishing Breathe Fire to attempt at eliminating them.
With Dragon Blood and Heart of Torrasque, give or take a few rings of health, your health will go up so high that when fighting a hero, your health will go up faster then down.
Troll Warlord
Ewwww...What's that black stuff on his face?
The move Blind itself is very good, as even in early game, if used on a hero, the miss about half the time. That's pretty crazy. Add up them missing half the time, with Ferver, you attacking 30% faster, and even Rampage, +40/80/120% attack speed, and then mask of madness/power treads...what do you get? One extremely fast troll.
Going melee may seem pretty....stupid, considering normally your range which is probably better right. Thats pretty much true unless you have some weapon like the cranium basher, added the chance you have to stun them from berserker rage, and you can stun them a lot.
He has pretty orange stuff coming out of him while he's in rampage
Bloodseeker
OK, so he's half Orc and have wolf, demon thing...does that mean that an orc had to.......
Bloodrage: a great skill when used....smartly. You could use it right before getting in a fight to up the damage you do. Or you could just get level one and use it on an enemy, whether it's while your fighting or if they try to run away. 20 damage per seconds a lot....but ofcourse, Rupture's better.
Strygwyr's Thirst is great for finding an enemy and dealing a final blow, chasing down a hero that tried running away from you, or just using the speed bonus while your walking around. Also, killing an enemy then healing yourself with Blood Bath...that's great.
Rupture...wow. It deals heavy damage to the enemy if he/she moves. If Bloodseeker used that on you it would be wise not to move at all, but if you don't move he'll catch up to you and kill you. Best part is you don't even have to be close to the enemy to use Rupture. It's a win-win...unless the scroll back to fountain...
Drow Ranger
What?? Drow Ranger. Why is she number one?
Let's start small: Trueshot and Marksmanship. Marksmanship isn't exactly the ultimate that creams everyone elses, but its ok. plus about 50 damage from both overall is ok right. And trueshot is good if you have three range heroes pushing like say Traxex, Mirana, and Luna, then it would be pretty useful.
Silence is a great spell and underused for many people. You start killing so many people you don't think you'd need it. But some people take advantage of Silence. There are some times a Hero runs away from you by luck. Like say, by blink or something or windwalk. This is when Silence comes in handy.
Frost arrows is extremely good and overused. It's used even when not needed. In anycase, just activate it before you fight and you most likely win, especially late game. but try to stay away from Heroes early, just until you have power treads or mask of madness.
With a combination of Mask of Madness and Buriza, you'll be unstoppable, you'd normally hid 200-300 and crit for as much as 600+, and with MoM, thats super fast kill. Thats good game for you.
* I like Ursa Warrior a lot, and he should be in here because its easy getting GODLIKE with him, but i think he's a pretty cheap Hero, considering he has +400% attack speed and that's not even his ultimate. Crazy....
And umm, I think vengful spirit and spiritbreaker should be in here too. Change the list to top 10 - haha.
