Race Drive: GRID

GRID videogame review for Playstation 3.

The first thing I noticed when I first played the Demo for GRID was how realistic the racing strategy used in the game was. I cannot say that the actual racing fundamentals was realistic, but the overall strategy was the best. I would give this game about a 3.5 out of 5. The controls and handling of the cars were way to responsive. It reminded me a lot of Burnout Paradise, except this game should be more realistic. Despite that, as I said, the strategy you use is very realistic and fun. You have to be pretty much perfect with it because it is incredibally easy to swerve off the track or crash into something. I did love the damage, it was very fun to crash into things and watch the bumpers and stuff come off.

Alright, now on to the good stuff. The graphics I have to say were about an 8 out of 10. They were very good and the details were spectacular. The gameplay was about a 6 or 7. The interface was an 8. Overall I think this game was like a 7. I strongly recommend that you get the demo before you buy the game, and you will see what I mean. It is a game that is not but should be realistic. It is fun for a little bit, but aren't demos supposed to show you the best of the game? Well if that is true, then this game would suck. Okay, so there was one tough but fun part. That was drifting. Drifting was sort of tricky to get started on, but was fun once you figured it out. That was really the only real fun part.

Overall, I think this game is not as good as it looked. If you really wanna check it out, download the demo. Thanks for reading
