Some More Ideas for Crossovers

This is simply to give out some more ideas for some video game crossovers to say the least. This time it would be even more unlikely match ups with settings and trying to pick the right setting for the games.

As from the last piece about crossovers, here is yet the final conclusion of this. Looking at games, it does ask a question once in a while what would happen if you cross two well-known franchises into one game and could it actually work?

Metroid & Mega Man: Metroid is an adventure game that started a trend with having a female hero or at least the most known one to do so created by Nintendo. Most of its games have been an adventure going in all directions and would later be adapted into some of the later Castlevania games with their own twist into it. Mega Man has mostly been a stage select game where you pick your robot master in the classic series, defeating them and taking their power. The question is how do you put the two together to make it work and what type of plot could you have? What if you had like for example Captain N have Mother Brain and Dr. Wily as the primary villains with Ridley a step below them but the most powerful general? They're not going to look like those characters from the show though so no need to go into a frenzy.

Legend of Zelda & Final Fantasy: The only characters in Final Fantasy I know are Cloud, Sephiroth, Squall, and Seifer or the most commonly used characters. We may as well use them as well and come up with a plot. Somewhere in the Final Fantasy universe, they go through a portal and end up in Hyrule. Both get transported into different areas. Since this game is non-canon on either end, the final bosses in no particular order would be Seifer, Ganondorf, and Sephiroth. In this game, you could make it RPG if it would be necessary for it to work. I don't believe the Legend of Zelda has ever really done a pure RPG game and Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link doesn't count as one. When I think of RPGs, I think of Final Fantasy and Ultima but that's another story.

Legend of Zelda & Kid Icarus: A Kid Icarus game hasn't been on a console since the NES and Zelda has been much known as pretty much 2nd in command to Mario as far as Nintendo mascots go. The setting of this game would have to be outside of Hyrule and could be at Mt. Olympis. Since it would involve some mythology, Link and Pit would be teaming up to stop the monsters from taking over Pit's land and then the world. Probably something with Ganon and of course the Eggplant Wizard. Hey, while we are at it, we can have a gag of having someone there called Kid Icarus. Remember on Captain N, there was a character named Kid Icarus though his name was actually Pit? Why not just do that for a little comic relief?

Street Figher & Mortal Kombat: You have two games that were very popular and the faces of the fighting genre. Both made a mark with Street Fighter especially Street Fighter 2 having multiple version updates. Mortal Kombat was mostly famous for the fatalities and the blood, which generated much controversy. For years I had wondered what if the two could somehow get put together and how it would work. There would be a fatality mode inside whether or not to perform a finishing combination. Its default should be at on but can be turned off if not needed or wanted. There wouldn't be much of a plot because it's just a fighting game to see who is the best. Add online play as well and it could potentially become a huge moneymaker. I say put the best and most popular characters involved.

That should do it. As far as other crossovers, that's going to be very hard. Those you have to take and understand that it's like rolling the dice, sometimes you have a winner and sometimes you have a loser.
