The Wii system has been one of the leading consoles on the market in the past year. However, Nintendo isn't done yet. At the E3 gaming convention in LA California, Nintendo has announced the new WiiMusic.
The WiiMusic game takes advantage of the new precision Wii-remote add-on that allows for more accurate movement tracking and game-play. WiiMusic allows players to play several instruments such as a saxophone, drum set, guitar, and much more. Nintendo is very excited about this release.
Nintendo's goal in WiiMusic is to give the average person with no musical experience the ability to make beautiful music. However, unlike most other music games such as the Guitar Hero series, WiiMusic uses a brand new, highly innovative system that does not require you to press buttons and play them at the precise time designated by the game. Instead, WiiMusic takes both button presses and controller movement depending upon which instrument you are playing, and plays a note that correlates to the song you are playing and in the timing you choose. Some instruments also take advantage of the WiiFit pad. WiiMusic offers more than 50 instruments covering all the fields such as percussion, wind, and string.
The game also offers other features such as the ability to make music videos and simultaneously play with up to 6 people at once. Nintendo has not yet announced the release date of WiiMusic on that day that this article was written. However, the game will most likely come out before the end of the year.
