My Sims

Review of the popular Nintendo Wii game.

My Sims is a very interactive game, from dancing to music, to saying to someone that they've been evicted(little bit evil, especially as most times they don't do anything wrong). But it gets a bit repetive as all the gameplay consists of is mindless building, collecting, and talking. The game starts in a town you get to call, you shape your own character, your house and workshop and moreorless everything around you.

However, fun how it is at the start, the tasks get repetitive, after you've built a hotub, what's so fun about building another one just painted different, zero. The wandering around is alright, especially when you're town gets more famous, you unlock items such as crowbars and you can collect different essences.

There are many ways in which you could improve an already-seen-it-all-before game (like Big Brother), you could add multiplayer (what, a Wii game with no multiplayer, impossible), I mean come on, it's fun to build bricks on top of each other on the Wii. Another good way to improve this game is bonus content, something never seen before on Sims, like a meteor wiping out civilisation and you have to start as the cavemen.

If you're aged 3-7, buy it, if you're not, it's a waste of money. 4/10.
