Wanna know an all time great game? Well I've got a game for you, Guitar hero 3. Some of these great hits include Raining Blood, Welcome to the Jungle, Rock you Like a Hurricane, and over 70 more songs. On the subject of these songs there are more to unlock in co-op mode, yes you heard me co-op mode! Start your own band with your friend. You can also unlock Through the Fire and Flames by DragonForce by completing career on any difficulty. Speaking of Through the Fire and Flames be careful when playing this hard song since it has so many fastly paced notes. I mean there's over 1200 notes on it on the expert setting! There is even new characters and updated characters, like MetalHead, Elroy Budvis, and God of Rock! All of the old characters are also updates which is pretty cool except the new singers got too big of a chin.
Also new to guitar hero is the three unlockable bosses Slash, Tom Morello, and Lou. And if your wondering about these “bosses” well first off instead of star power you get battle power to throw off your opponent. And your goal is to make them miss as much notes as possible to make them fail and for you to win. After winning these battles lets you play a song with Slash and Tom Morello but not Lou since he is your evil band contract manager guy. After you beat Tom you can play Bulls on Parade with him and after you beat Slash you can play Welcome to the Jungle with him. New to ps2 version of Guitar Hero 3 you can use the new wireless guitar to move around while you play to show your moves, but your “moves” don't really appear on screen just have fun while movin' around. Be sure to also buy some of the new videos at the shop (Guitar Center) cause they are pretty wicked. Well have fun with these updated characters, rock out, and reach your way to become the legend of rock.
