Leveling Tips
World of Warcraft has many ways to level up and out in other websites people will tell you all different kind of stuff, sure most of it is true but lots of them are not very effective.
When you first make your character you start off as level 1, so that means just go ahead and just grind mobs, which mean just go kill anything around your level until you hit level 20. Don't worry too much about getting new items or doing quests until your level 20 because it is so easy to hit level 20 by just grinding mobs.
Don't worry about the amount of money you have either, all your trying to do at the moment is just get your level up A.S.A.P.
Once you hit level 20 you can start doing quests to get extra XP and start planning on the stuff you're going to buy for your character.
Classes
When your picking your class make sure you pick the one that suites you best, after all you will be sticking with that one for quit some time.
In my perspective, Hunters are a good all around class. They can carry good armor, they can use long range weapons along with close combat weapons. They can shoot normal arrows or shoot normal bullets but they can add magic to them for extra damage. The best thing about Hunters is that they can have pets. You can get anything from a gorilla to a lion.
Races
In World of Warcraft there are eight different races to pick from. The first decision you have to make is if you want him or her to be Horde or Alliance which is good or bad. For the horde there is a choice from - Tauren, Blood Elf, Orc, Troll or Undead.
For the Alliance there is - Gnome, Night Elf, Draenei, Human and the Dwarf. Each race has a selection of classes to choose from
Hope this help a little.
