World of Warcraft - Quick Level 60 Guide!

A simple guide to how you can achieve level 60 using a set tactic! It is so simple but it works effectively! You can reach level 60 in a few days depending on your play style!

This short guide will tell you how you can get a character (or two) to level 60 within a few days (Depending on how long you play a day). The actual played time can vary, as this also depends on how long you play and how you play.

You will need:

  • A Friend (OR) another copy of World of Warcraft (Original)
  • A Current, subscribed account, via game time card or Credit Card

You MAY want a 60 day time card (keep it until I say)

So here is the gist of it- Refer a friend…
World of Warcraft have employed a new version of the Refer a Friend feature. With these new improvements, you can invite a friend to try the game, however, this is where it changes!

When you refer your friend, you and your new adventure friend need to team up and group, when this is done, you both get 3 times more experience from killing and questing… For a whole 3 months… Up to level 60! However, this will require you to make a new character with your friend, but it's an easy one - ill give you some handy hints shortly.

The bonuses don't end there - if your friend buys the game, you get 30 days like before! However, if your friend uses a 60-day time card to activate the account, you will also get yourself an exclusive Zhevra Mount!

So - here is how to do it…

  1. Find a friend that wants to try world of warcraft
  2. Log onto the World of Warcraft website (Make sure its related to your nationality! E.g.: WorldofWarcraft for Americans or WoW-Europe for Europeans!)
  3. Find the refer a friend button on the main page or on account management
  4. Give your friend an invite and get him to sign up!
  5. Get him to install the world of warcraft client, must be same as Nationality! Hint: Get your friend to install the correct game before you invite (Let them borrow your WoW Disk for speed), that way; you get more time killing and levelling!
  6. Both of you jump in WoW and find a server you want to play on, make characters that you want, the good thing is, if one makes a Tauren and the other an Undead for an example, you can instantly teleport you or be teleported to your friend! A Tauren in the undead starter location… Such a sight! Simply start your group, right click the friend portrait and click Summon Friend! This will summon him with no fee… This can be used once every 60 Minutes! Both accounts have this function!(Same Allegiance of course…)
  7. Wait until both of you are in game, and then group - this will allow you to get x3 experience…
  8. In the starter area, grab every quest and complete them like you would normally, take note of the experience from killing, its quite nice
  9. Keep going through, stay close together and stay on the same quests. Keep handing them in and reaping the experience. Hint: Check Important Hints at end for some good tactics and tricks to speed up levelling! Also look for the -Grant Level- hint!
  10. Keep at the questing and killing like a normal group and keep levelling with each other!
  11. When your friend hits level 20, its time to activate his account (If you enjoyed the experience). Buy another copy of World of Warcraft (Original) or get your friend to as well as the 60-day time card to verify his account activation.
  12. Get your friend to add the WoW Key to their account, and use the 60-day time card to verify the full activation (That way, you instantly get 30 days bonus as well as the Exclusive Mount!)
  13. Keep questing together… continue your journey and level up to 60! At that point, your friend can buy the burning crusade, or you can make new characters! Remember to make most of the 90-day bonus experience!

Important & Useful Hints!

  1. The Hunter - A Hunter as one of the 2 levelling characters (in my opinion) seems to be much faster to level! Their pet, range and damage are all useful to making quick work of those enemies!
  2. A Healer - A Healer is also a good to have class in the group, you could possibly have a hunter and a healer, this way you can kill a lot more, and quickly without having to worry about agro and damage intake too much!
  3. Switch and Repeat - After the characters are level 60 (If a hunter was used), get the hunter user to make a different class, and the other make a hunter this time - that way, you will both have something to level to 70 and 80! Hopefully something you'll enjoy! (This is not needed if you like your hunter!)
  4. Level Grant - The invited friend has this privilege. If the invitee levels before you do (Providing that they become a higher level than you), they can grant you a level! No experience needed, just a simple, no questions asked level! (Reminder: ALWAYS stay around 1-2 levels between each other)
  5. Object Questing - We all know that fighting and searching over for objects is annoying, when one of these quests crop up, make sure the invitee is the only one to accept it, you do not want to get it on the inviter account! When the quest is completed, the invitee can hand it in, and if they level, they can grant you a level!
  6. Friends come first! - In this case, this is true! To make use of the grant levels, make sure your friend hands in ALL of the quests first! They may level past you, and then grant you a level, at that point - you can hand in your quests and that might even get you another level, taking you in front of your friends level (Friend catches back up with Object Questing)
  7. The Lone Goer - You can do this whole guide on your own, you'll just want 2 accounts and 2 computers! Just remember which account is the Referrer, and which is the friend!
  8. Attention Seeker - If you save up those precious little grant levels, you can… if you want… Use them in town! If that town has other people who do not know about this guide, you'll get a lot of attention and “OMGADZ HAX, YOU LVLZ HAX!” or “GEIF LVLZ PLZ GM!!”... Something along those lines, it is incredibly amusing…

That is about everything you need to know! So get out there and level with yourself or your friend! If you are low on a bit of gold - you can also check out my free gold guide with various hints and tips to get you that gold you need from level 1 to level 70!

Good Luck!
