World of Warcraft is a game where leveling up is pretty quick, compared to others such as Lineage II. But it still requires a quite a bit of time. Follow these tips, and you may boost your leveling up speed.
- Always do quests, almost every quests requires killing monsters, which gives you xp, plus the bonus xp at the end. This bonus is better than just simple "grinding", though you should do that from time to time. Do this when there's only a bit of xp needed until your next level, this usually means more quests are unlocked.
- Always do green quests, it means the quest is easy, but you still get good xp for it (just less from the monsters)
- NEVER do gray quests. They give very little xp, and monsters usually don't give any xp at all.
- Depending on what kind of players, you should join a party. Xp is spread out among party members, but when in a party, you can kill more, and faster, meaning more xp.
- When fighting monsters always attack the one with yellow or orange names. Green ones give reduced xp, while red ones take too long to kill for the xp to be worth it.
- When you log off, try to log off in a city (big towns like Undercity or Silvermoon), or in a inn in a village. While logged off, you're slowly getting "rested". When you log back in you temporarily get 200% xp from monsters! That's double the speed!
