Head to Mos Taike and talk to the noble left of Bren Kringal. When you talk to him and accept missions, he will give you items occasionally to deliver to people and stuff, don't do the missions just keep on accepting and then rejecting them.
After about 10 min, you should have your inventory and a backpack full if not close of junk dealer items, each worth 50 to 100 credits. Go back to your safety deposit and put all the ones in your inventory in there. repeat this until you inventory and safety dep. are full.
Now, head up into town and you should find a junk dealer, sell ALL of the items to her, after selling all your junk you've acquired you will make a good chunk of credits without having to follow way points, getting missions, and possible dieing and hurting your equipment.
The only drawbacks to this exploit are, you have to erase a lot of way points and you get no XP for this unlike missions but hey, when you low on cash or a flat out noob, this is a good way to get money.
