Before you can craft any item in the shadows of Angmar you must train a vocation. In the shadow of Angmar, a vocation is free to train, and can be learned by visiting a master of apprentice in very starting area. Beside vocation, you should also choose a profession. A profession is an area of crafting expertise.
Profession in the Shadows of Angmar
Generally, there are two types of professions in the Shadows of Angmar : gathering and producing. Both types of professions have levels of experience and you may only gather or craft within your level or lower. I this article we will only discuss items that can be crafted by jeweler, metalsmith and prospector. So, before I give you the list of the items that can be crafted, let me give you some short description about these three profession.
Jeweler: Jewelers are well known of their abilities in making exceptional adornments that can increase the stature and confidence of an adventurer. They are well known for creating single-use flasks of Hope, called Tokens, for use in difficult battles. To become a jeweler you will need Jeweler's Tools. Associated vocation: tinker.
Metalsmith: They are well know of their abilities in making metal armor and sturdy shields. Their skills will allow them to work finer materials and greater designs. To become a metalsmith you will need Smithing Hammer. Associated vocation: armorer.
Prospector: A prospector I the one who gather and smelt metal ores and gems for the jeweler and metalsmith. Prospectors also occasionally find items in the ore nodes they mine that are of use to other professions. To become a prospector you should have mining pick. Associated vocation: Armorer, Armsman, explorel, and tinker.
