Second Life is a 3D virtual 1st and 3rd person RPG where you can program objects
with Linden Scripting Language (LSL) scripts. You can build any object you want from a
ring to a mansion and you can script objects to make them open or move or even light up.
You can sell the items you made for Linden Dollars ($1L) which you can transfer into
your bank account ($186L=$1.00). You can also fly, teleport, chat and talk with a
microphone. If you have enough lindens you can rent shops and market stalls out with a
maximum number of primitives (objects), the more primitives there are the less things
you can sell.
You can upload your own photos, animations and sounds ($10L per one of
these) to put on the objects you make. You can also buy your own lindens ($1.00=$186L)
that you can spend on the items you want to buy or the shops you want to rent or the
photos, animations and sounds you want to upload.
