Spear Holy Warriors: The Most Efficient Soloers
In Rappelz there is always the argument of the best soloers. Many say kahuna because they have almost no down time. Others argue Fighters because of their range and ability to do a lot of damage before the mobs even get there. Of course someone with a wicked good pet, such as a sorcerer with an evo 2 common is pretty much unbeatable. However, pets aside, at high levels spear fighting HWs are amazing soloers, and here is why.
First off, Holy Warriors have the best defense and health in the game. There passive defense boosts and health upgrades put them well above the next closest classes. They also have very good health regeneration, due to both more passive skills and their already high health. This then allows them to take less damage than other classes and regenerate their health faster. If they carry around a staff, they can also switch to that to heal themselves and gain back a good amount of health. All these factors combined allow them to fight for long periods of time without having to rest often.
The second reason for there soloing skill is their fast killing with spears. Spears naturally have very high attack, and HWs get spear weapon mastery increasing that even more. They also have brandish spear, which gives three rapid attacks with it, divine cross providing two rapid attacks, and critical smash allowing them to deal an automatic critical. However, the best HW skill is minor shining cluster, which gives 50% damage to all skill attacks, and this is without any skill cards!
If used correctly, you can perform skill attacks most of the time by using earlier skills, like divine smash, at low levels, allowing HWs to have enough skill attacks to almost always be using one. This provides them with an extra stacking 50% spear damage bonus (more if you have cards) and uses very little mana. Unlike other classes, this provides a way for HWs to use the skills they gain early on in the game effectively. HWs are usually not considered very good damage doers, but people are wrong! With 50+% stacking damage to very good skills such as brandish spear or critical smash, Holy Warrior are able to quickly kill there foes.
These two factors, Holy Warriors taking very little damage and regaining health very quickly, along with doing massive amounts of damage, make them the most effective soloers. They can kill very quickly for long periods of time without rest. HWs kill so much faster than kahunas that their minimal down time (if any) is made up for by how many more mobs they kill when fighting. Overall, at high levels Holy Warriors are the most effective soloers.
