Okay, I am here to tell you what I believe to be the top four free massive multiplayer online games.
Lets start with number four.
Shadowbane
Intro: Shadowbane a 3D game with much potential, but has many graphics problems. The graphics are not very good, but the game it self is very well made. From all the games I have played I have never seen so many races to chose from and starting abilities. The controls and camera movements could use more work, but overal a good game.
Features: Many a few classes and races to chose from but each class and race you can modify your starting skills and atributes acordingly with the pre-set ammount of points. Low quality in graphics and controls.

Maplestory
Intro: A simple 2 style game by Nexon, maplestory is a relitivaly fun game with many things to do. Most of witch and that brings the game down to number ten is that it is all quest based grinding or just grinding to level. The graphics of the game are very well done, but the controls are a quit a bit different from most games and there are minimal features compared to such games as World of Wacraft or EVE Online.
Features: The game has a very simple interface, but at the same time very nice. The game has a very large selection of items for a player to buy, but the down side of that is they do cost real money. There are 4 main classes in the game and each of those classes breaks down into 3 sub-classes; each class and sub-class are very unique in skills and spells.

Dream of Mirror Online
Intro: Is a social MMO game where doing things with other players is very important. Based in the asian dynasty around the time of pandora and pandora's box, this is where the games plot comes into play. The start of the game you go through a tutorial witch is helpful for new players, but a pain for others; shows you the basics and then you are off.
Features: Many jobs to get witch can be switched from at any time. When you get a job it starts at level 10 and you level it from there. You can switch or change jobs, lets say you got sick of being a doctor level 32 you become a shaman when you switch, your doctor stays level 32, but you shaman is level 10 now. There are many bonuses for being with friends or marrying someone in the game; from special skills to exp rate increases when with them. Biggest downfall it is ALL grind based leveling.

Bounty Bay Online
Intro: Bounty Bay Online is a MMORPG, developed by Suzhou Snail Electronic Corperation, basically every player plays the role of a character during the time of exploration and pirates a few centuries ago. You can chose what type of character you want to play, be it farmer, craftsman, merchant, explorer, pirate or be them all. The graphics are very good and the things you can do in the game are very well done.
Features: You can chose to do what ever you want to do no classes or anything holding you back. Many ships to get and many locations to go, you may traval the whole world. There are even parts of the game where players or clans can take over a city witch in the end produce them much wealth. There are over a thousand hidden treasures in the game.
