This is the ultimate glitch in the popular Nintendo DS game, Metroid Prime: Hunters. Whenever you fight a five-star hunter (a.k.a. Legendary Hunter) over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection (a.k.a. WFC), and the person fights like a horrible one-star hunter (a.k.a. Bounty Hunter), you know almost immediately that the person was using this so-called “ultimate glitch”. So, I'll first tell you what this glitch does and later tell you how to perform it.
What this glitch does is pretty much make it impossible for you to lose any ranking points. What I mean is that after a battle over Nintendo WFC, you usually lose or gain ranking points which can eventually (with enough ranking points) raise or lower your Metroid Prime: Hunters rank. Well, this “ultimate glitch” makes it so you can almost NEVER lose any ranking points even when you lose! Thus, the conclusion after using this glitch is that you only gain points and never lose any.
Now how can we perform something as great as this? Well, simple. Just follow these procedures:
- After LOSING a match over Nintendo WFC (doesn't work over normal multiplayer), turn off your Nintendo DS about ONE SECONDAFTER the match ends (ex: when the clock hits zero or when someone gets seven kills).
- Immediately turn your Nintendo DS back on and start back up Metroid Prime: Hunters.
- Create a normal game in SURVIVAL MODE (NOT OVER NINTENDO WFC!), and skip through the stage select (DON'T TOUCH ANY OF THE OPTIONS!) to the Hunter select screen.
- Select any hunter of your choice and add a one-star bot (doesn't matter what hunter you or the bot are) and start the game.
- After winning the SURVIVAL MODE game, click “quit” and go into your Friends and Rivals List. You should have the same amount of ranking points as you did before you lost your Wi-Fi game (in step one).
- Repeat all these steps if you ever lose a Nintendo WFC match and you should be a five-star in no time.
Some final notes on the “ultimate glitch”:
- This glitch may take some time to master. If you don't get it the first time, don't worry, that's normal.
- Even though this glitch makes it so you won't lose any ranking points, it does make your connection history percentage go down.
- This glitch will NOT damage of corrupt your copy of Metroid Prime: Hunters in anyway. The only side effect is that your radar may not work for the next one or two games you play. This is only temporarily and doesn't happen often, so don't fret, it's okay.
