Maplestory Basic Classes

All the tier one Maplestory classes.

Maplestory, is a 2d online role playing game. In this game you will fight monsters, complete quests, and have fun with your friends.

Maplestory can be very fun for the right people. It has bright colors and fun enemies to fight. The skill and stat systems are simple and easy to get used to. Leveling can get a bit slow but is still very enjoyable. Questing is not a necessity in Maplestory but the quests are in depth and fun. Now for a run down of the basic classes. :D

Thief: A stealthy class that uses either daggers or ninja stars. This class is both melee and ranged and is based mostly off of the Agility statistic it is fun and fast but it has lower hp then a warrior and lower mp then a mage it is still quite enjoyable. The thief has skills that allow it to hide in the shadows and avoid detection as well as skills that allow it to do good damage.

Warrior: The warrior is a tank type character in maplestory. The warrior is probably the most cost effective class in Maplestory as it does not use mp potions, arrows, or ninja stars. The warrior also has a large amount of Hp or hit points and thus is very survivable. It's abilities focus mainly on raising damage output and raising defence. The warrior overall is a very good beginner class

Mage: The mage is the magic class of Maplestory. It has very low Hp and armor, but it makes up for it with Mp and damage output. The mage has by far the highest damage output at low and mid range levels and can have the highest in high level ranges. Mages have skills that focus mainly on doing direct damage and keeping their Mp above 0. And the mage can often eat up Mp potions fater then you can buy them making it a slightly costly character to have. It is a good character to make as a 2nd or 3rd character.

Ranger: The Ranger uses either bow or crossbows. The ranger is the ranged class of Maplestory. The rangers skills vary from skills raising hit accuracy to skills allowing you to do much more damage. It is not a very costly character though it does have some costs through arrows. Rangers can be fun and exciting if you like playing with a hit and run tactic. The ranger is also a good 2nd or 3rd character.
