Background
Hello everyone and here is my guide to creating the perfect Trap Farmer Solo in Guild wars.
The solo trap farmer is one of the best farming builds in the game. This build is mainly used to farm rectos in the underworld but can exceed at farming anything else.
First you are going to create a new character a R/Me. I would suggest making him in prophecies because easy access to the Underworld. You will need to get to level 20 and get to Droknars Forge to buy the armor you need. Once level 20 and at the forge you need to craft some druids armor or the equivalent to it. Druids armor is needed for its defense against destructive elemental attacks.

Note: you must complete the attribute quest(s).

Technique
Now comes the hard part, due to recent updates AI now flee from AOE (Area Of Effect) damage. So the build technique goes like this, you must find a crevice or a corner so when they try to flee they run into the wall and get stuck in the trap, not to hard to find in the underworld there is many. Next you go in the corner or beside the wall and cast 1, 2, 7, 4+3, 5, 6, 4, 5, 4. Back up a bit and cast, 7, 6, 5, 4+3, 7, 6. Wait for recharge and cast 1+3, 7, 5, 6, 5. *Note Number corresponds to what you would press on the keyboard if you set the skills up like shown under skills. Now that all your traps are down quickly aggro you enemies and bring them back to the traps (a bow is recommended). If you fail to kill all the enemies simply just run away and cast whirling defense, they are crippled so they can't catch you. With this build it is best to solo underworld simply clear the chamber of aaxtes, then accept the quest and kill the grasping darkness's, and once that is done move on to the smite crawlers. I usually get an ecto every 2 runs it is extremely worth it.
Note: Grasping darkness's don't need a corner, just use your trap sequence in the middle of the chamber, and drag them into there.
