In this guide I'll be covering two types of blades one is the later game blade, and the other is all about skills.
The Later Game Blade
If you don't mind waiting and having really boring game play until level 40, but enjoy critical striking like crazy and attacking like crazy this is the build for you. Please note that axes are recommended for this build.
Using the later game blade (note please do not use any skill points on vagrant skills)
Right when you finished the mercenary job change quest:
- Level protection to level 3
- at level 18 level pan barrier to 10
- Level 20 you can either max sneaker or keep it at 19. The difference at level 20 is that the percent to successfully ensnare a mob is reduced but the sneaker effect has a little aoe.
- Level empower weapon to level 4 (if you have an elementally imbued weapon you can go ahead and max this out.)
- Once you hit level 25 level smite axe to 9 save the rest for axe mastery
- When you hit level 30 max axe mastery ASAP
- Next go back and max smite axe and empower weapon from here on you can use your points as your like.
The stat build for this would be 2-1-3 in a str-sta-dex ratio. You can defeat almost every single class except for psykeepers and their annoying satanology and curio spells.
The Skill Blade
If you like those flashy damaging moves then this is the build for you.
Using the skill blade (note please do not use any skill points on vagrant skills)
Right when you finished the mercenary job change quest:
- level splash to level 4
- when you hit level 18 max keen wheel as this will be your fast/ heavy damage
- at level 24 max reflex hit and at level 30 max guillotine
Reflex hit is so good against mages, because if you survive their spells long enough for you to cast their dead. Reflex hit hits a really strong hit plus any damage you received during the cast time required. Your action slot should be Reflex hit, keen wheel, keen wheel, keen wheel, and guillotine. (Note if you want to shorten the amount of keen wheels that is fine).
The stat build for this would be 1-3 in a str-sta ratio. You might be thinking no dex on a blade why the heck not??? My answer to that is in this build your relying on your skills to do the damage, and more sta equal more damage with reflex hit, and the longer you can spam your skills. Now if a range every gets a silent shot on you. You're screwed!
