Flyff Upgrading Items

To upgrade your equipment all you need is good luck, a lot of money and a lot of patience.

To upgrade weapons/ basic armors, you must double click a Power Dice from your inventory and click on a weapon or armor in your inventory. Make sure the armor or weapon is NOT equipped or it will not work.

You can use these dice to upgrade weapons to do more damage, upgrade basic armors (helmet, suit, boots, gauntlet, and shield) to give your armors a boost in defense.

However, you cannot upgrade cash shop items, jewelry or capes. Whenever you upgrade an item and if it succeeds, it will have a + (number 1-10)

Now, say u want to upgrade your weapon of choice to +10. The way to do this is obtain some Power Dice 4 & Power Dice 6. To upgrade the weapon from +1 to +5, you will need to use the Power Dice 4. Upgrades from +6-+10 require a Power Dice 6. Power Dice 12, is a very rare dice, and can be used to upgrade the weapon from +1 to +10 with a greater chance of success.

Sometimes upgrading your items will fail (with the chance being greater the higher you try to upgrade, so trying to upgrade to +10 has a VERY low success rate).

Upon failure, your Power Dice will disappear, and, SO WILL YOUR WEAPON OR ARMOR. However upgrading to +1 up to +3 will NOT destroy the weapon upon failure but after that your weapon WILL be destroyed if you fail! You can avoid the destruction of your equipment by using an item purchased from cash shop called a “Sprotect”. They will protect your weapon from breaking, but it is a one- time only use, whether you fail or succeed, it will disappear.

Upgrading Bonuses

Upgrading your armor set (this includes your suit, gauntlets, boots, and helm) to +3 will give you a bonus hit rate, block chance and defense. Also your armor set will emit a glow at +3, and as the set is upgraded more the glow will become brighter and you will obtain more bonuses.
