Come Live the Life of a Mobster

People believe that MMORPG (Mass Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games) are just for people who don't go out anywhere and sit on the computers all day getting fat and spotty. Well I'm here to change your views on this subject. I am going to tell you about a game that I play called The Mafia Underground (TMU).

The Mafia Underground is a MMORPG and is one of the best MMORPGs that  the internet has seen in a long time. You are living the life of a mobster fighting other mobsters to grow and be the best of the best and level yourself to be the best mobster in the game but it is not that easy as their will be other people trying to reach the same goals as you and fighting you to get one step ahead of the rest and become the best themselves.

Stats

Stats are what determines if you win a fight or not. if you have lower stats than another player then you will not win the fight and you will spend 20 minutes in the hospital. The stats are in different categories and they are: Strength, Defense, Speed and Agility and when you sign up to the game you are given a default set of stats which are: 10 strength, 10 defense, 10 speed and 10 agility and you train these whenever your energy bar is full and it is also better to train these when your awake bar is full as this will give you more for each train.

Levelling

Levelling is all based on experience (otherwise known as EXP) and to get experience you can perform crimes and bust people out of prison. The most frequently used way of gaining experience is either crimes or hitting other players at a higher level than you (if you can beat them) and gaining experience in that way. the higher level you are the more you will gain per train on your stats aswell so that is a good reason to level up.

Bunnies

Bunnies are players on The Mafia Underground who do not train their stats so that people can hit them and get experience points from them but they charge a price for each hit which is a charge of points (referred to later in this article) and depending on the level depends on the amount of points they charge but you must watch out for the 'fake' bunnies who are players that have very high stats and say that they have very low stats. These are the people to avoid hitting unless you have very high stats yourselves.

Points

Points are a form of currency in The Mafia Underground. people use thes to pay bunnies and refill their energy bar and awake bar. Points can also be sold on the market for a certain price earning that player money for every point bought.

Nerve

Nerve is used for crimes and prison busting. as you level up you get a higher amount of nerve on your bar but every time you do a crime you lose a certain amount of nerve and to replenish this nerve you either wait for it to replenish or you spend 10 points to refill it by 100 nerve. As you get more and more nerve after levelling you can do better crimes and earn more money for each succesful crime you commit but if you get caught doing that crime you will get a 20 minute sentence in jail.

Prison Busts

When you bust a person out of the prison you get 500 experience to go towards getting to the next level. You have a 50/50 percent chance of passing or failing the bust. Their is also a chance of the person getting caught and being put in prison themselves.

Housing

When you sign up to The Mafia Underground you will be assigned a cardboard box to live in but if you spend money at the real estate agents in the city screen then you can buy better houses which will give you a higher awake so when you train up your stats you will get even more stats per train. there is also gang housing which your gang will buy and this gives you an extra percentage each time you train you stats.

Gangs

When you first sign up and login to The Mafia Underground, you will defaultly placed into a gang called Training Day (T-D) which is a gang set up just for new people to the game and you can either leave this gang if you would like to or you can stay their and get to grips with the gang before then being automatically kicked out of the gang after you reach a certain age or level.  It is best to be in a gang that is a good level with a good amount of members and some allies.

Over the years of MMORPG games being out, The Mafia Undertground has to be by far the best and most easiest to understand and get to grips with. It is also the hardest to level with which is what you need in an online role play game environment because if it becomes to easy then you won't want to play it that much because it is too easy to play there has to be an element of difficulty.
