Bounty Bay Online is a new game that has entered into the beta phase of development. It is the first mmorpg that focuses on sailors and voyagers. It does not take long to download or install unlike games like Conquer Online which could take hours to download. You can sign up for a free account or a paid subscription which would allow you access to different things than in the free account.
There are two characters per account. There is not much to the design of the character. You can change the hair color and the face. As you change the face, the hair style changes with it. And of course you can name your own character. There are two female characters and two male characters. It seems as if you can't have a male of a certain type or female of another.
The viewpoint is you looking down on your character. It was hard for me to understand how to do anything other than move in the game. To move you right click on the place you want to go and then left click to speak to an npc (no player character.) As stated it can be a little hard to understand. The hot buttons are already set up for you and they are the number keys. The novice training in the game can be a little annoying because it takes up half the screen, so you can't learn as you explore.
