I will be talking about which skills whether passive or active or useful and I hope this will be of some use too you. Also for the skills that cost acclaim points I haven't used them before so I will not cover them.
I won't cover all of the skills since I don't have that much time and I will only cover the major passive or active skills. I also will give my opinion of what is good or bad about the skill so its not everyone's view on the skill.
Rush:
Rush is a good skill and is the most used active skills in BOTS. When activated you simply rush forward knocking down all viruses/enemies in your path unless they block which stops you from going any further. I use this skill as my active since it is useful in quite a lot of occasions which I'll list and the cons/pros of rush.
Pros:
- Useful for knocking down enemies and deals a fair amount of damage.
- Hits multiple enemies if they are in your range which is a line.
- Good for quick escapes if you're mobbed or low on health.
- Great for PVP to knock down the opponent.
- You can do rush than jump back to where you were and rush again continuously though against the bosses it fails sometimes.
Cons:
- Dangerous too use if your near the edge of a cliff, water, lava, ECT.
- Viruses and bosses in later levels block more making rush ineffective.
- Only goes into a straight line.
Overall there are more pros than cons in my opinion as rush is very helpful in quite a few situations but don't spam skills with rush as it makes you a noob and use it when you really need it.
Guard Crush:
Guard crush is another good skill and is also one of the most used skills in BOTS. It is a cheaper option than rush which is good for the players who like to save money and still have a pretty good active skill. When you activate this skill you will attack an enemy in front of you and they can't block the attack! I use rush rather than guard crush since I am not really skilled with it and I usually die when I am mobbed so I will list the cons/pros of guard crush.
Pros:
- The opponent/enemy can't block from guard crush.
- You can keep attacking the opponent with guard crush and they can't retaliate unless they fall and get back up and attack you again.
- Good for fighting one on one against a boss.
Cons:
- Guard crush doesn't work on multiple opponents.
- Bad for PVP as you'll probably get hit with rush a lot.
- With all the rushers fighting the boss by guard crushing it won't really work since rush knocks the enemy down which is quite annoying.
So guard crush is good for one on one though ineffective if you are surrounded or mobbed by a group of viruses which means trouble. Though you can own viruses/bosses by just doing guard crush continuously as long as you aren't attacked from behind or the side.
Uppercut:
Uppercut is an active skill more useful for pvp challenges. The cost is 2000 gigas and by activating it you intercept your opponent/enemy when they jump attack you. I haven't used the skill though I know myself that it's more used for pvp than in sector battles. But you can still use it in sector battles since a couple of monsters use jump attacks.
Pros:
- Good for PVP battles too intercept jump attacks.
- If you have good timing uppercut is a great skill.
Cons:
- Uppercut is only really useful when facing another player.
- Requires timing.
Uppercut is really only for players who go too PVP a lot though I don't use it since I prefer rush in PVP fights or guard crush in most sector battles. So uppercut is a decent skill and is good in pvp fights.
Counter:
The most commonly used passive skills because of its great effects and protective stalling ability. Counter as you probably know is a passive skill that activates when you block and you automatically counter attack with a hit that usually knocks down the virus/person attacking you. Its 600 gigas so it's easy too afford.
Pros:
- As the effect states you automatically hit the virus/person who is attacking you and knocking down the virus/person too.
- Good for a block and attack combo against a boss or a counter and rush combo if the boss hasn't fallen down.
- Good to stall for waiting for you to transform or waiting for your transformation bar too fill up.
