Top Five Mmorpgs

A fun to read list of the top five mmorpgs on the web.

World of Warcraft 9.5/10

World of Warcraft is the best mmorpg on the market. Great graphics, great storyline, and a great user base are only a few of the many attributes that make this game my favorite. With a multitude of things to do and a never growing level cap the game never gets boring. The only con to the game is the high subscription fee, 15 usd a month. But you can always buy the game and play on a private server.

Runescape 9/10

Runescape is probably one of the most well thought games in the world. I believe that they should make the game totally free with ads, but that is never going to happen. The gameplay is great and the level max is nearly impossible to reach making it fun. To get the full effect from the game, you need to subscribe to there membership, but the game is well worth it after you become a member. The best feature of the game is that it is browser based, meaning no ridiculous 1 gb file downloads.

Guild Wars 9/10

Guild Wars is an online gamer's dream: pay once. Guild Wars is definitely a contender at taking the place of WoW as the number one mmorpg. Did I mention no monthly fees? Especially since the second release will allow 3d movement and no or a high level cap. And there are no monthly fees! It also has one of the best PvP modes that I have seen in a game… with absolutely no monthly fees. Now where is that awaited Free WoW Guild Wars 2!

Maplestory 8.5/10

Maplestory is the best 2d mmorpg there is. It has many users and users that are too lazy to play so they use bots. Its cartoony graphic style and great mappers have made it a fun GUI to play in and use automated computer hacking machines to level up your character because you are too fat and lazy to do it yourself. Read my childhood obesity document for more about fat lazy people. It does have a big download file (700mb for the file and another 200mb for the hacking machines) and it has lot of scamming hackers that use bots and a lot of scummy scamming hacker reporters, but all in all, it is a great game.

Final Fantasy XI 8/10

Final Fantasy XI is similar to many of the other mmorpgs on the market. The only reason it really gets a spot on the top 5 is because I like it better… and because top 5 is catchier than top 4. But Final Fantasy does offer great gameplay and good graphics. I think it needs to be improved so that it differs its self from the old skool Everquest. But, I still like its graphics a lot. And if the game was a little less pricey, I would recommend it to anyone.

Conclusion

As you may know, the internet offers a multitude of mmorpgs, but it is up to you to find one that fits for you. Make sure this game has enough people for you to interact with, graphics that you like, gameplay that suits your style, and most importantly, will never bore you. What are you doing here reading? Go! I mean it! Go and Game On!
