Full Intellect Sword and Shield requires the Player to have a Sword and a Shield equipped along with all Stat points added to Intellect. This is a very useful combination because :
- It allows the user to block numerous attacks, giving them more time to unleash devastating attacks
- High amount of intellect means that a lot of skills can be used before needing a mana potion
- The Player will have high defence against Magical attacks
However, it can be a let down because :
- The Sword will not deal as much damage as a spear
- If the shield fails to block, your low amount of health will be at risk, and because the damage of the sword is less than a spear, you may not be able to kill the monster or player quick enough
- The user of full intellect will have very little HP, meaning that numerous HP potions are required to stay alive.
- Full intellect may be 1 Hit K.O by a player of full strength
What am I looking for in Full Intellect?
Full Intellect is good for battling single monsters or players at a time, the damage dealt may kill the monster in one to three hits. The amount of mana should also allow you to use less mana potions meaning you save money.
How do I do this then?
If your going for a full Intellect Sword and Shield, you will need to create your character to begin with a sword. Go quest, kill, whatever you would like to do to level and add all stat points onto the stat INT. Hopefully a shield will drop for you when killing monsters, if not, you can always buy one.
What Item stats do I need to watch out for?
There are many stats that will aid you in battle, however, I believe the main ones will be :
- Mag Attack Power (Weapon) : The higher this stat is, the more damage your skills will be able to deal
- Phy Defence Power (Shield/Armour) : This reduces the amount of damage taken from Physical attacks, very important against melee
- Mag Defence Power (Shield/Armour) : This reduces the amount of damage taken from Magical attacks
- Blocking Ratio (Shield) : The higher the number on this stat is, the higher the chance that you will have of blocking an attack
- Any items with the INT Stat on (Blue Writing) will be very helpful!
They are the stats that I feel are most important for any Full Intellect Sword and Shield user
What Armour am I using then?
I have used sword and shield before, I found armour was the best to use. This is because it reduces the damage you take from melee, which with the amount of health you have will be very important. However, the cost of your skills will be higher. Your intellect should provide enough magical defence for you to be protected equally
What Skills do I get?
As you may know, there are many skills to choose from in Silkroad online, however, some skills will be more useful to you than others, I would suggest :
Bicheon Swordsmanship :
- Shield Protection (Passive)
Fire Force Mastery :
- All the Imbue Skills of Fire
- The Skills in the Fire Shield Series
- The Skills of the Fire Protection Series
- The Skills of Flame Wave Series (Nuke Skill)
Lightning Force Mastery :
- The Skills of the Piercing Force
- The Skills of the Grass Walk Series
- The Skills of the Lion Shout Series
- The Skills of the Thunderbolt Series (Nuke Skill)
Cold Force Mastery :
- The Skills of the Guard of Ice Series
- The Skills of the Snow Storm Series (Nuke Skill)
- Cold Armour (Passive)
You may choose other skills if you wish, these are only the ones I suggest
If you wish, you can get some skills for your weapon, but I would suggest using the Nuke Skills only because melee is very dangerous for Full Intellect
