Seven Strange But Oddly Entertaining Internet Games

A list of some pretty fun Internet games that require no sign-ups, money, or downloads. Try and beat my scores, I dare you.

There are so many computer games on the internet that you may have a hard time finding a few fun ones without having to search and search those massive game sites with every game imaginable on them. While using search engines and a few personal favorites of mine I have compiled a list of 7 of the best games on the internet that you do not need to sign-up for, and are free to play.

  1. Cursor*10

This is a rather addicting game that is fun until you beat it. You have ten turns and each turn your mouse action is recorded and will follow the same action every second for the rest of the game. By your tenth turn you will have nine other mice doing what you have previously accomplished in the past rounds. This is helpful for holding down the levers needed to open the stairs. I got stuck on the 15th floor for the longest time. I finally beat it, and my tip is to watch the earlier floors after you've completed the first fifteen. Good luck.
  2. Curveball

This is most likely one of the most fun flash games I have ever played. It is similar to a 3 dimensional version of Pong and Ping Pong. While playing levels one through five may seem like a simple game and look boring to you, get to level nine and I promise you it will be a challenge. To master the game I suggest learning how to curve the ball. The highest I've ever gotten is level nine.
  3. Sheep Dash!

This is a game that will test how fast your reflexes are. You have darts and you simply click on a dart as soon as you see a sheep leave the pack. As easy as it sounds, it actually gives quite a challenge. Just be careful not to hit the mouse to early. If you do you will be penalized with three seconds which is a good second over what you would have probably gotten anyways. The best I could get is an average time of 1.9 seconds as the final score.
  4. 10 Fast Fingers Speed Test

The test is a pretty fun way to practice your typing and test your typing speed. All you do is type the two rows of words put on the screen and after a minute it will give you how many words you typed and how many you got wrong. What makes this better than another test? It uses the most commonly typed words on the computer. This is great practice; however I found it more like a game. I successfully hit 75 words per minute as I am accustomed to on most typing tests.
  5. Double Wires

This is a rather basic game that is surprisingly fun. You are a black figure that has abilities, like Spiderman, to shoot out a length of wire. This will attach to any of the objects, and pull your guy towards it. If you don't catch anything you will fall and lose. It gets a lot more challenging as you get farther. I got to level nine a nd it was pretty much impossible because my guy had troubles getting through the obstacles in the allotted time before my guy was moved out of the screen. This game is the one to try if you only chose one.
  6. Age of War

This is a bit more of a time consuming game. You get a base as does the computer opponent. Whenever you kill an opponent you get experience and gold. The gold can buy you turrets or soldiers that you can use to protect your base or attack the other. As this is two dimensional you only have one way to get to their base, through your opponents. You go from the age of cavemen type of soldiers to futuristic halo type of creatures. If you play it on the hardest level it is a great challenge. This game takes about 15-20 minutes to complete.
  7. Heli Attack 2

This is one of the most simple fps games I've ever played. You control a basic army man who can move left right up and down. You are trying to shoot down enemy helicopters. Every third helicopter gives you a weapon or boost in health or ability. This game gets very addicting, and even Heli Attack 3 couldn't take its place. My all time best was 128 helicopters killed. My advice is to get in the little alcove at the far right corner of the map. It is nearly impossible to get hit by bullets in here.

There they are seven very strange yet fun internet games. This is the second publication of games that fit into the above description of no sign ups and costs nothing. Click this to see the first strange but fun Internet games. I'll bet you cannot beat my high scores. Leave a comment with your all-time high score as well as links to any other fun games you've played.

Heli attack 2 is a side scroller, not a fps, and I play it all the time @ school, my best is 140 somthing helecopters. I like to just stay in one area, dodging bullets is easy if they are always going in the same direction.
