What Makes a Noob?

This is a guide on how to find a noob in a crowd, and how to find pros.

How do you define a noob (newb, newbie, newblet, nooblet, etc, etc)? Well, I've come up with a guide on this subject, and I will try to shed some light on this question.

Defining moments that make a noob, a noob:

  1. Noobs are usually low levels and they indulge in "nooby" things (begging, cursing, immatureness, ignorance of the facts and properties of the game, and etc). But most low levels are either pros trying to level up the accs to make pures or they use the accs to scam other players (despicable).
  2. Noobs usually try to woo a crowd by bragging about how much money they allegedly have or by telling players that they could "pwn" other players in the wild or in a duel.
  3. Noobs are prone to long terms of stupidity and arrogance, and they enjoy indulging in cursing and being immature.
  4. Noobs tend to be ignorant of major factors in the game, like where the bank is, how to make money, or where to find quest starts.
  5. Noobs tend to ask many questions and have the tendency to follow higher level players and beg for money or goods.

How to find the difference between pro noobs and nooby noobs:

  1. Pro players: Who are using noob accs as pures; tend to have expensive things for their levels. I have seen level 40's with full zammarok, and many others at lower levels with black (g) and rune (g).
  2. Low Levels: Low level noobs tend to have lots of useless junk. Many low levels use mithril scimitars, when they could be using rune or adamant.
  3. Pro Players: Pro players use intricate Runescape language and show an in-depth knowledge of the game.
  4. Low Levels: Low levels usually need assistance in the most basic slang and in game knowledge.
  5. Pro Players: Don't waste time mingling with others, instead they mind their own business and tend to their work.
  6. Low Levels: Low levels barrage others with stupid questions and comments, and disrupt the peace.
  7. Pro Players: Do not bother reporting people who have broken minor rules (cursing, macroing, etc, etc).
  8. Low Levels: Low levels tend to think, that by being a snitch and reporting people who have made a petty infraction of the rules, that they will become a player moderator (doesn't happen like that, you have to have a good record and have helped players a lot also).
  9. Pro Players: Pros try not to sell useless junk to people; instead they drop it or sell it at a general store.
  10. Low Levels: Noobs have a propensity to sell useless and worthless junk at high prices (Zammarok wine, Charcoal, worthless armor and weapons).
  11. Pro Players: Pros don't ask too much for things and they don't usually overprice.
  12. Low Levels: Noobs usually sell goods for exorbitant fee and they call other people, who tell them the real price of an item, noobs.
  13. Pro Players: Pros get to working and they have a goal in mind.
  14. Low Levels: Noobs try to look like they're doing something purposeful, when in fact; they're mindlessly walking around with no goal or intention.
  15. Pro Players: Pros don't scam (most of them), they work hard for their cash.
  16. Low Levels: Noobs scam, they do this because they're too lazy to work and they probably are just selfish pros who want to make a ton of cash really quickly.

Hopefully, now you know if you are a noob or not. And hopefully now you know how to single out the noobs and the pros in a crowd. Well, thank you for your time.

Pros who don't report macroing aren't very bright pros then. If they truely were pros they'd look in the future to see the negative effects of macros. For example, merchanting will become near impossible because prices will go down and down and down until a 600gp profit will be consider lucky.

Woops, my bad there, i meant macroing as in auto talk. Personally, i rather dont bother reporting people who auto wc, fish, or mine. Theres always gonna be more of them to take the banned ones place.

i agree with tayza..no point reporting the auto miners,wc,fishers etc. etc. cuz its like if u report one and it got banned..5 more will be created..something like dat
