The very basic weapon for mages. It gives a small magic bonus.

Elemental staffs
There are four kinds of elemental staffs: water, earth, fire and air. Each elemental staffs give infinite amount of runes according to the elemental type. This is the best staff a f2p player can own.

Battle staff(Members only)
The battle staff gives same magic bonus as normal staffs. It only gives a stronger physical attack bonus than normal staffs. It is not very useful because normally mages do not hit people with their staffs unless they are out of runes.

Elemental battle staffs(Members only)
The elemental staffs is a battle staff with the ability of elemental staffs. However it is possible to make some serious bucks out of these staffs if you have the requirements.

Mystic staff(Members only)
A staff with stronger bonus than battle staffs. They also give unlimited runes to their corresponding elements. To acquire these, you have to complete scorpion catcher and pay a fee to enchant your battle staffs to get the mystic staffs.

God staffs(Members only)
The name of these staffs sounds cool, but they gives a small magic bonus. There are three god staffs, saradomin, zamorak and guthix staffs. These staffs allow you to cast god spells. They can only be obtained after complete the mage arena minigame.

Slayer staff(Members only)
The slayer staff is a powerful staff. It gives a great magic bonus and it is the only staff which allows players to cast slayer darts, a powerful spells used mainly for barrowing.

Iban Staff(Members only)
The Iban staff can only be obtained after complete the underground pass quest. The staff can only be used for 120 times, after 120 times, you have to recharge it. It is also the only staff allow to cast Iban blast.

Lava battle staff(Members only)
This staff gives same bonus as elemental battle staffs but it gives an unlimited amount of fire and earth runes.
Ratin Memebers-**
Mud Battle staff(Members only)
The mud battle staff gives same bonus as elemental battle staffs. However it gives unlimited amount of earth and water runes. It is also very expensive and rare therefore is a great weapon to merchant.

Ancient staff(Members only)
This staff can only be obtained after complete the desert treasure quest. This staff gives high magic bonus and it is the only staffs allows to cast powerful ancient spells.
