Magic: Mages have an advantage over melee and a disadvantage against rangers. Mages cloth armor allows them to run around the battlefield while casting spells and their spells easily go through normal armor and does great damage. On the other hand rangers arrows easily pierce a mages robes and is also long distance so mages loose there ranged advantage. Also leather armor is great protections against magic.
Rangers: Rangers have an advantage over mages and a disadvantage over melee warriors. Rangers arrows easily go threw a mages robes and there armor is great protection against a mages spells. Meanwhile ranger's arrows bounce off warriors armor and warrior's swords easily pierce leather.
