Okay, I'm going to give you a very simple way of making a private server! Simply follow the steps below.

It's too hard to start one by scratch, so just go to www.moparscape.org/smf and download a pre-made server (make sure you download the moparscape client too).
- Once you've downloaded it, extract it with Winrar. If you don't have Winrar, you can get it from www.rarlab.com
- After extracting it, open the extracted file and look for an icon that should say “run server” or something similar and click on it. DO NOT CLOSE IT. You need it to run the server.
- After running the server, keep it open and open your moparscape client. Then, just put in a username and password and for IP address, just put localhost and login! The best server in my opinion is Testscape. Also, if you want to make your self a GM, go to the icon that says “characters” in the extracted file. Your name should be there if you have already logged in. Open your character file with notepad and change your character rights to 2 or 3. It only works with some servers; so don't get your hopes up.
