Okay, this quest may not be all that difficult, no level 702s to fight, or anything to fight really. But, everyone has to start somewhere, so ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the guide for Sheep Shearer.
Items needed: Shears or around 200gp.
Skills: None
Start point: Fred the Farmer. He is in a house filled with chickens; you can find it by following the road north and then west in front of Lumbridge.
Walkthrough: Talk to Fred the Farmer. He will say essentially that he needs 20 balls of wool, and will you do it for a reward?? A reward?? For shearing sheep?? That's definitely easy money, so accept. After this, you can do 1 of 2 things. Either, you can buy the wool for around 10gp each or you can shear the sheep yourself using those shears I mentioned.
When you shear a sheep, you will get plain wool. The farmer wants a “ball of wool”, and so, after you collect 20 “wools” you should go to the nearest spinning wheel, Lumbridge Castle second floor and spin them into 20 “balls of wool”. (2.5 crafting experience per ball). After you have collected 20 balls of wool, go to see the farmer with the wool in your inventory to claim your reward. After that, you are done.
