Runescape is officially shutting down August 8, 2008. Jagex has talked about it and they have agreed on this date. The reason why Runescape is shutting down is because of the lack of players the last few months. Also the company has received many reports from angry guardians who have been trying to either sue them or shut them down.
If you have not heard yet that the Grand Exchange is shutting down in 27 days I will tell you about it. Well it all started with the giving out of Zezima's password. So Jagex has been shutting down the expansion of the game. The Grand Exchange was the first. Who knows what will come next.
Well players of the game I am sorry to inform you of this frustrating and head spinning event but you should move on.
