This guide will tell you how to get 99 Wood Cutting. You can make a lot of money in the later levels of this skill. Members do not have much of an advantage in this skill over f2p. To make Wood Cutting 99 in f2p you have to:-
Lvl 1 to 15
Cut normal logs as that is the only thing you can cut. Some good places to cut normal logs are draynor(near the jail), lumbridge(behind the general store), outside the Al Kharid gate (where the goblins are), outside Varrok (near the Brass Key Dungeon), near the Earth Altar, Falador (outside bank) etc.
Lvl 15 to 30
Cut oaks. Some good places for this are Falador outside bank, Draynor, outside Al Kharid gate(where the goblins are), outside Varrok (near the Brass Key Dungeon), etc.
Lvl 30 to 60
Cut willows. This is the best xp. You get 37.5 xp per yew you cut. The best places to cut willows are at Draynor(if you want to bank them), or in Rimmington behind the Ranging Shop. Rimmington is the best as there are very less people there and you can burn the logs right there. You can also sell them to the general store there. The only disadvantage in this is that there is no bank nearby.
Lvl 60 to 99
Cut yews. This is not so good xp but very good money. These yews sell 350 ea. You get 175 xp per yew you cut but yew cutting is very slow. If u want 99 Wood Cutting fast, you have to cut willows. This is the fastest xp. I suggest to cut yews as it is very cash earning. Good places to gut yews are edgewile, varrok palace, falador (near air altar), outside varrok( near earth altar), behind lumbridge general store. I made about 7m out of yew cutting. This is one of the best ways to earn money.
