Runescape Skill Training Guide

(contd.)

Smithing

Use the ores that you have stored into your bank to smith things. This way you will rise quite quickly. Just smith the best thing you can in Varrok as the anvil is right next to the bank, this saves a lot of time. Smithing is also pretty straight forward but in general mining and smithing in my opinion is pretty boring.

Woodcutting and Fire making

Wood cutting is not a very profitable skill until you are at least level 70. Once you get to level 70 you are able to sell yew logs for 350 gp minimum each. When you start this skill, sell your logs at the grand exchange and chop logs there too. You are able to sell the logs for 20gp each. However if you want to train your fire making then fire make all of your wood. Here train up your cutting until you are level 21 where you are able to use a mithril axe. Now go and cut oak logs slightly north of Lumbridge castle. If you are now level 31 go and buy an adamant axe and go down to port sarim and cut willows. Cut willows until you are level 75 then you should start cutting yews. You may think, why would I only start to cut yews at level 75 when I can at level 70? The answer is that there is so much competition that you will hardly even get 1 log!

Fishing and Cooking

Fishing usually resorts to cooking as you usually cook the fish that you catch. A good place to start is at al kahrid as the bank is relatively close to the net fishing spot. You are able to fish until level 10 here. You can net fish until level 5 where you can now get sardines by bait fishing. To bait fish you need a fishing rod and bait. Soon you will be able to fish anchovies do this for a while then you will be able to fly fish. To fly fish you should buy a fly fishing rod and lots of feathers. Then go to the river near Lumbridge and fish here. Fish until level 25 then change back to bait fishing in a river and you will get pike. Then at level 30 you can fish salmon with a fly fishing rod. Train 5 levels then you can harpoon tuna. Go to karajama for 30 coins to cage lobsters at level 40 and harpoon tuna. Now for swordfish you need level 60 fishing to harpoon swordfish. Swordfish are worth quite a lot when cooked and sold near the bounty hunting area or the grand exchange. For cooking usually the most things you will cook is fish as they give good cooking exp and you are usually a fisher and don't want to waste the precious fish. Just make sure that your fishing level and cooking level is always about the same. To get into the fishing guild you need level 80 fishing and to get into the cooking guild you need 55 cooking.

to get your fishing and cooking high:
go to barbarian village and start fishing.(fishing should be minimum lvl of 25-to get it to 25 buy a fishing rod from port sarim south of falador and than buy fish bait grand exchange snd than go fishing in lumbridge)
than when you have a full inventory go and cook in barbarian village, the fire is in a room where a person called peksa will be selling helmets.keep repeating this till 55 fishing and how much ever your cooking is. than go to karamaja and fishing lobs, tuns, swordfish.u can fish tuna when ou are lvl35 but its good if u go when you are 55lvl of fishing because it will really take long.keep repeating this and ull have a high lvl of fishing and cooking. i hope u will like it!

It's general, I suppose...

There are a bunch of ways that you can get ur stats up waay faster than what you have in this guide, but oh well. I don't expect much from beginners like urself.
