Runescape Ranged Training Guide

Here are some tips for getting a high ranged level.

There are many ranged player killers (pkers) in the Runescape Wilderness. This guide shows you the quickest way to become one of them. (Note: this works best if you have good finances so I suggest that you take a look and my moneymaking guide first.)

Now that you have made an account, get your ranged level to three on Tutorial Island. Once you get to the main land, buy a shortbow and 1000 iron arrows. Now train your ranging on giant rats in the Varrock sewers. At level 5 ranging, sell your shortbow and buy an oak shortbow. Keep training on giant rats until your range level is 20.

Now buy a willow shortbow and more arrows if you are running low. Also, buy a coif, studded chaps leather body and vambraces. Also get an amulet of accuracy. Now head north to the edgeville monastery and train your range level to at least 30 on monks. If you get low on health then ask one of the monks to heal you or eat some cabbages.

At level 30 ranging, buy a maple shortbow and some more iron arrows and head over to the place in the Stronghold of Security where there are level 27 Minotaurs and a safe spot.

Once you get level 40 ranging, buy a green dragon hide vambraces and chaps. Now train at any of these places or in the Edgeville dungeon where there are level 28 hill giants to train on.

After level 50 ranging, you can go to the Karamja volcano and train on lesser demons. Once you have what you think is a high range level, buy lots of adamant arrows and start pking!

The info is sort of helpful but it should be updated. Crossbows are muh better than bows because they can be wielded with shields. Also, if you are fighting in a populated area use lower level arrows because of greedy people.
