Are your parents not letting you play RuneScape? Do they think you aren't mature enough? Well here is some help. If your parents don't think you should play but all your friends say it is awesome than fallow my guide.
- Some parents say you shouldn't play because you can communicate with other players. This worries most parents. The great thing is this is easily handled. There is a wonderful thing called a friends list. You put your friends usernames on it and then you can talk to them. Another wonderful thing is the ignore list. If someone won't stop talking to you, you can put them on your ignore list and they can't talk to you anymore. Also at the bottom of your game screen you can make it so you can talk to everybody, only friends, or nobody. It is useful if your parents don't want you to talk to other people.
- Some parents won't let you play because there is violence. In answer to that the only violence is when you are fighting monsters. There isn't blood or anything. The only thing that happens is a number shows how much damage you have done. There is no aggressive talk on RuneScape at all.
- Some parents won't let there kids play because they don't trust them. Some think that the kids will play in the middle of the night. I don't have much advice accept that some computers have controls on what time you can get on. That way parents could make sure. If you don't have that than gain the trust of your parents and then ask. BUT MAKE SURE NOT TO LOSE THERE TRUST BY PLAYING AT BAD TIMES!
- Some times parents just won't give in. If this is the case and my guide has somehow failed you than your last resort is to go to the RuneScape website and go to the parent handbook. The handbook online tells parents what goes on in RuneScape and what you can do. It tells them the rules and reasons RuneScape is safe.
