This is a brilliant guide to help newbie's in this very complicated game. It will also help you to get that armour or weapon that you've seen on people and dreamt you could get it but never had the money to get. All of your RS fantasies will be gone after following this guide to making serious money.
Your First Step Into Runescape Will Now Be Making Money By Cows:
When you first walk into Runescape, your Combat Level will be Level 3 and you will be in the town of Lumbridge. You will find yourself just outside a castle called obviously "Lumbridge Castle "which has 3 floors. On the first one there is a Kitchen and a quest if you want to do it. On the second floor there are two rooms. One with a quest in it and another with men, woman and crafting wheel. On the top floor there is a bank which should have 25gp in which you might decide to buy Newcomers Map with or some other essential things to a Runescape success.
First of all, follow this map to get to your most important destination in this part of the process - The cow place (Picture to you left). Loads of people kill the cows for there meat, some do it for bones but what you want to concentrate on is getting the Cowhides. The problem is that you're only a Level 3 at this time so the way to get them is to go around the farm and collect all the Cowhides you can find on the ground that people have forgotten to pick up and take them to the nearest bank that is on the third floor of Lumbridge Castle. Put all of your Cowhides in there and then do the process again of getting the Cowhides.
When you have nearly over 100, you can sell them in a bank that is in Alkrahd (Picture to the left) for 100gp each so your words should be "Selling Hides 100gp each". This is a great way of making money and it has helped me a lot in the past and present. I use it now for Merchanting which is a great way of making money that I will come onto in a later chapter. Make 100k and then move on to the next Chapter.
You've Made 100k, Well Done! But Now To The Merchanting
You probably know your way around the non-member Runescape world by now and you have checked out all of the places you can get to. This part of the guide will teach you how to Merchant. For our example, we will use Cowhides like we will use for a lot of things.
Merchanting is a simple way to make money but it can take along time to find buyers and sellers. So you have 100k, with this you can buy loads of Cowhides for 100gp each. So you have bought 500 Cowhides and now you have 50k. Now what you can do is go onto World 1 (If it's not full) and sell those Cowhides for 150gp each. If you sell all of them for 150gp each, that's a big profit. This doesn't only work on Cowhides. If you had 500k for instance, you could buy Full Rune separately for 150k and then sell it for 200k in Full. 50k profit isn't that bad, is it? Once again, you can use it on Lobsters.
Buy loads of Lobsters for 125gp each and sell them all for 200gp each. Do this at any bank all the time. Banks are the best place to buy and sell things because if you have something, but your not carrying it, its will be in your bank. Never try to buy it anywhere else.
Mining
Mining is a superb way of making hundreds of thousands on Runescape as it can be used to make armour and other essential items to the game. The place that everyone mines is the Drawfen Mines in Falador.
When you first start mining, you will have to use a Bronze Pickaxe and you will only be able to mine Tin Ore and Copper Ore. Keep on mining this and put all of it into the bank. When you have got your mining up really high and you have about 10k (Ten thousand) Ore of each, your mining level should be pretty high. You may even be able to mine Coal. Sell all of your collected ores for 200k all together.
Now if you are able to mine coal, keep on mining that and put all of it into your bank until your Mining level is 55. Then sell all of your coal that you have made for 150gp each. You should make a lot of money if you do this but obviously it will take along time. Also with the money you have made, buy a Rune Pickaxe for 32k at the bank on the map to the left of this writing.
