Recently I have discovered an unbelievable thing that JaGeX has been hiding from all the players in RuneScape. Reading on "RuneScape Wiki" an article about glitches I found an article called "The World 111 Glitch". I was curios to find out what was it saying and when I read it I found out a very interesting, but at the same time, strange thing.
It looks that, the first player that got 99 construction, a player named "Cursed You" had a party in his Player-Owned House to celebrate his achievement. Some of the guests headed to the Duel Room. Suddenly, for unknown reasons, "Cursed You" expelled all his guests. By a regrettable mistake in the game coding, all the players who were fighting in the Duel Room when they were expelled were given the power to attack anyone.
This led to a "massacre". A player called "Durial312" attacked and killed some players and stole the things they had. He also wanted to lure the sellers on the forums so that he could kill them and steal the things they had. But the world got full quickly, so "Durial312" couldn't do this.
While he and others were killing people, Player Moderators had no idea what to do and they were just yelling "Bank your items" and "Watch your health".
While he was walking in Barbarian Village he was permanently banned. This is said to be the fastest ban in RuneScape history. "Durial321" tried to apologize, but his appeal was rejected and he was permanently banned.
How about "Cursed You", he wasn't banned immediately after the incident, but was banned lately for Real World Trading.
The fact that makes this incident strange is the name of the player "Cursed You" and, more important, the date in which happened (6 June 2006, which writes like 6 - 6 - 2006 and we have 3 of 6, which is considered "The Number of the Beast").
The problem is that JaGeX has hided this from all the RuneScape players and, mostly, they have succeeded. I am playing RuneScape for 2 years and found out lately. I searched in the Update Archive and there's a post about Postie Pete.
You can convince that what I am saying is true by searching "RuneScape massacre" on Google and/or YouTube.
I hope that most of this things will came out faster and that it will get clarified.
