Runescape Help

If you are new in RS read this, it will help you a lot.

As an experienced player i can give you some tips for non-member players.

Many players are especially intrested in getting higer combat level. You shoud get youself the best equipment you can. If you dont have any money and you are „newbie" you can make it simple by mining or cutting wood then selling them in store or in the grand excange. If you need pickaxe for mining you can go to Lumbridge, and outside of castle there are two towers you can get in and climb few levels up, on the top floor there are two or three bronze pickaxe you can take. You shoud get bronze axe for cutting wood after finishing Tutorial island.

When you get youself an equipment you can start training on goblins (lvl 2-3) or giant rats (lvl 3), they are the closest to Lumbridge castle. Remember, your attack level is for having better chanse for hurting opponent, your strenght is for making bigger damage, and defence is for reducing taking damage.
When you become level 5 or 6 you shoud start some simple quests like Cook asistant or Sheep sharer. They are good for new players and after every quest you finish you get some money, experience or nice item.

For becaming better cobat level you shoud train attack, defence and strenght, hitpoints train when you inflict damage.

After done these simple things you shoud start exploring world, but be carfoul an make good judgement when something is still to dangerous for you. You cannot atack other player except in wild, but you shoud stay away from there until you are at least level 35.
If you get killed you will lose all your things except 3 most important (like armour), so be carfoul. Smart thing is to have stronger friends. If you are new player and need protection or advice contact me, my name is „Humra7" and i play wery often.

If you want to fight other players and not going to wild ther is safe minigame (you wont lose your things if you get killed) in Al-Kharid Dezert. You will have to pay 10 coins to pass the border, but when you finish quest Prince Ali rescue you can pass for free.

If you dont want to fight but you want earn money the best thing is to make you woodcutting level 30 by cutting woods and selling them. Until woodcutting level 15 you can chop only normal trees, on level 15 you can chop oaks, and on level 30 willows which wort 4-18 coins in store. When you reach woodcutting level 60 you can chop yew. It can be sold on grand excange for about 400 coins per peice.

If you get bored you shoud start other, more difficult quests, like Ernest the chicken or Shield of Arrav etc. For some quests you will have to be higly experiences player, Dragon slyer is the most difficult quest, it took me 11 days to finishing it.

Smart thing woud be to make your mining and smithing levels big. It is going slow but it will worth of that. As your mining level gets bigger you can mine better, worthabel ores. And as your smithing level gets bigger you can smelt that ores and make things from them, swords, platebodyes, axes etc. Some of that can worth lot money, especially platebodyes.
Fishing and cooking are useful skills too. As you have big fishing level you can catch expensive fishes, lobsters or swordfishes etc. They are also recowering lot of hitpoints. But to eat them you must cook them and for that you need cooking levels. As your cooking level is bigger chances to burn your food are smaller. But remember, if you want to sell that fishes and not eat them dont cook them, they worth more when rhey are raw.

Crafting is one of the most useful skills. You san make jewellery, armours and pots. You can make things as diamond rings or neackless. You can cut sapphires, emeralds, rubyes and diamonds and in that way make their price bigger. You can also make cool armour like coifs and gloves.

Prayer is surely the best but hardest to train skill. As big yor prayer level is you can activate some cool things, like making your attack 15% bigger or to be immune on magic, close attacks, or ranged combat, you can even save 1 extra object if you die.

There are also runecrafting and magic that are some way connected. After finishing Rune misteryus ouest you can start making rnes that you use for casting spells like water blast or earth strike, or some spells like bind that will hold your opponent on place for 5 seconds so you can run away. There are air, water, earth, fire, mind (basic one), body, law, nature runes that serve for casting spells. You can also get some by killing monsters (some monsters drop things wher they die).
