Preparations:
Hi, this is my guide to being a pure ranger. You will need to start a new account. You will also need the following items: all the bows under maple, coif, green d-hide vambraces, power amulet, green d-hide chaps, an iron chain body, and a lot of bronze arrows.( sorry, but I don't have an exact number). I'm sure you'll need more than 20k bronze arrows.
The reason we're using bronze arrows and not the other arrows is because you are training and you don't want to spend money on the better arrows, until you start PK-ing. You won't need food because you will be attacking from where your opponent won't reach you. All this should cost about 317k. You might need more, or you might need less?

Getting Started:
Ok. This is going to be really boring because you are going to train on one monster. Maybe two, if you're brave enough. So head over to the hobgoblins near the crafting guide. Equip your full leather, iron chain body, your bow, and your arrow. You can keep your other stuff in your inventory because you won't die.

Try to get to the area where I am and keep on attacking the hobgoblins, until your range is level 40. As soon as you can use your better bows, use them. Once you get to level 40 range, equip your d-hide and coif. Keep on attacking them until level 71 range. You can set your attack style to rapid if you want.
You Are Done:
Congratulations. You are now a range pure. You should wear a coif, green d-hide chaps, green d-hide vambraces, iron chain body, combat boots, maple bow, and your arrows. You should use addy.
Note: Once you are level 90 range, I recommend you get your defense to level 40, so you can wear the green d-hide body. This won't affect your combat level a lot.
Ithink your first guide was wayyyyyyyyyyy better.
