Runescape Combat Guide

Can't find a good place to train? This guide will help you find just what you're looking for.

This guide is for Runescape players that aren't members and plan on leveling combat skills such as attack, strength, defense, and hit points; however, this is only a guide for good places to train at certain combat levels, not a guide to which levels are the best to raise.

Level 3:

First starting out, good places to train are at the goblin's house east of lumbridge (the place you start at after tutorial island) or cows near the crafting guild (southwest of Falador). Scimitars are recommended weapons (shop found in Al-Kharid).

Level 30:

Al-Kharid palace is a good place to train at this level. Bring food if you don't wear armor higher than steel. More good things to train on are dwarves at Falador mine, dark wizards south of Varrock, and level 13 zombies in the Varrock sewers.

Level 40:

Hill giants are now easily killed and the big bones can be sold for over 300 each. Other things that you can train on are level 28 hobgoblins near the crafting guild and ghosts and zombies in the Varrock sewers.

Level 50:

Jail guards near Draynor Village are good sources for experience. You don't even have to worry about food if you have 3 valuable items or less with you when you die. Just walk back from Lumbridge when you do die.

Level 70+:

Lesser demons found in Karamja volcano are now good to train on. Greater demons in the Wilderness are also good sources for experience if you don't mind dying (if you have 3 items or less). By this time, you should be getting a good idea of what is good to train on. I know it's hard and long, but personally, I switch it up so I don't get bored too fast.
