Runescape: An Addicting Nightmare or Invaluable Learning Tool?

Like other MMORPGs, Runescape is a game that allows users to interact and battle with other users around the world, but there is much more to this game.

Aside from battling monsters and summoning spells, players can do everything from practice alchemy to constructing a house. The possibilities are virtually endless in this game. Players may play for free, but if you decide to pay a monthly fee there are much more options available to the player from new weapons to new areas. Runescape takes time and dedication, since it is a MMORPG there is no end to the game, players may level their character up to the max limit and max out their skills which may take a significant amount of time. This is the reason why some players find the game addicting and very hard to put down, but there are also many upsides.

If you ask any player then they will tell you the game is somewhat addicting or very addicting. There is so much to do and so little time to do it, you can play mini games, work on your skills, mine ore, smith metal bars, chop trees, battle demons, cast spells, etc. Almost anything you want is possible and this is why some find it so hard to walk away from. There are people who do little, but play this game. They outcast their friends, family, and even school work. Now while the game is fun it is still a game, you should in no way sacrifices anything in the real world for the fantasy world, but there is also positives to this situation.

Runescape is a game that teaches responsibility, ethics, money making skills, economics, etc. If you have been playing for a while then you know how these things are learned from the game. Players are responsible for working their way to the top by making their own money by any method necessary, now this may mean mine and sell ore or sell fish. This game teaches adolescents the responsibilities they will need in life. In the game, players must get along with other people so they can achieve goals and trade goods. When one sells their goods, they must know the market value and where and how to sell. Now, there are many young kids on this game becoming rich from knowing when to buy and sell. These are young kids we are talking about that know how the economy works.

In conclusion, Runescape can become an addicting experience, but when played in moderation can be a very invaluable resource, especially for adolescents. This game teaches many things needed to succeed in the real world and if you can master it in the game then you already have a head start in real life. Runsecape is a great game that provides a lot of fun, but is also a great learning too.

I don't think the game teaches you skills that real life couldn't teach you ten times better and faster. Also, trading is a lot different now with the Grand Exchange.

I like how you right, though. Convincing and proper. I would like to read more of your articles.

i agree with cremnlin to an extent. You can learn the skills outside the game, but for being a game it is educational. I\'d also like you to write some more.
