RuneScape Returns

RuneScape has made a comeback in terms of graphics and may attract many customers back since the fair trade update.

As many of you may know, RuneScape has been declining in popularity ever since the 3k rule. It then slowly recovered slightly through the introduction of all the pking minigames as well as the use of grand exchange. These problems have been mentioned in my previous articles: “RuneScape Problems Since 3k Rule” and “Runescape Struggles to stay in business”

They have done their biggest improvement on the 1st of July, upgraded their graphics. They had been behind in terms of graphics in comparison to other MMORPG games such as WOW. This graphics update has attracted many players into Runescape or back to Runescape. The affect could increase the price of all “cool” looking items and participation in minigames as well as trade, possibly decreasing skillers for a short time.

Just play it or check out the screenshots on the official site.

If you have played with the new RuneScape graphics, post your comments about it.

it does seem quite laggy sometimes, possibly leading to the message "connection lost".

It lags for me every few minutes. I wish it was like Maple story because it has good graphics and doesn't lag as much.
