The only thing you need for this trick is a good trigger finger. I learned this while killing steel dragons. The thing is to learn how fast your opponent attacks. about half a second before the splash comes up activate protect from (attack style) prayer. It does work it just takes a little getting used to. I don't recommend this for barrows, well not dharock at least, or duels. It's good if you want to fit those last kills in before you go off to resupply.
I don't Recommend for wildly or duels unless your opponent uses only 1 weapon or you feel that you've learned the attack speeds well enough to use it. I've never tried it as I'm not a pker. however my friend has said it has worked for him in several fights.
Will work well in caves and pits once you get used to the different attack styles thrown at you.
For Steel-iron or other dragons just use a anti fire pot and an anti dragon breath shield (with visage or not) to go by without taking the damage from it's melee attacks.
For "Bosses" Like Jad Or Mithril Dragons and such I don't recommend it at all Unless you can tell what attack style they are going to use next.
On other monsters like slayer assignments this should be incredibly easy to use and you wont take any damage if you've gotten good at it.
This is useful for those of you who don't wanna spend a lot of money on prayer pots.
Only 1 problem and it involves using crappy computers. It does make you lag, sometimes you notice it and sometimes you don't. If you've learned how to roll with the lag using this you'll find that the lag helps you a bit on turning on your prayer accurately and turning it off before you lose a prayer point.
It should work with any account that has protect prayers as my account is only 95 and I'm taking out tens of steel dragons only having to resupply to bank my loot.
I also found it makes Training A hell of a lot longer as training with stronger lv monsters might only take 1 or 2 prayer points to deal with them. I've gotten to the point where I can kill 2 steel dragons with 1 prayer point.
I'm not sure if I'm the first to figure it out but I hope this helps you all who are forced to play legit.
