To start with you need to prepare for your time in the wild. You will need food, weapons, armor and a few other objects. To start with I would buy 20 kebabs from the kebab shop in al-qarid because these only cost one gold piece but are very effective at healing you. Now you are going to need weapons, if you are a mage bring enough runes to perform your best spell 20 times; if you are a ranger bring 50-100 arrows and a short bow; finally if you are a swordsman bring a scimitar and a two-hander. So we come to armor if you are a mage bring a wizard robe, staff and a magic amulet; if you are a ranger bring vamps and a hard leather body; if you are a swordsman bring a helmet and some plate legs.
Now you're ready to go and fight in the wild, so logout and find a world with 800 to 1100 people in it; once you've done that log in to that world. The best place to Player Kill is directly north of Varrock East bank, so that's were you're going to go.
You're on the south of the wilderness ditch now and you're about to cross over but first you need to find a team. Unless you want to be a scumbag and attack you're team or you want your team to attack you; you should choose a team with two levels difference from you that way they can't attack you in level one wild but you can both attack someone with a combat level in between yours.
Once you're in the wild and you've found a team go and attack someone. When you're attacking someone don't just eat food when you hit points are low because that's risky, try to always keep you're hit points full.
Now you're attacking someone but you have a problem, they keep healing themselves. You need to give them a bit of surprise ownage for example if you are a swordsman take out you're two-hander when they get below 50% health and finish them before they have time to heal; if you are a ranger you'll want to change to rapid fire when they get below 50% health for the same reason and finally if you are a mage use bind to stop them running or healing before you finish them off.
Now you've made your first kill I would recommend going back to the bank to deposit your earnings and restock.
The mental part of owning in the wilderness is learning to keep your combat level to a minimum, butstill have a high maximum hit. To do this, only train your hit points and one combat skill (Attack, defense, Strength, Mage or Ranging). Do not train prayer as it will lead to an increase of your combat level which you don't want to happen. So pick your favorite skill and only practice that skill if you want to own in the wilderness. In other words become a pure
