Required Things:
- A neat oufit. xD
- 3M to 4M GP.
- An Auto-typer
- Knowledge of where each item is sold.
Auto Typer
Firstly you have to ask yourself: What is an Auto Typer? An auto typer is a program that was made for typing a sentence or two with the push of a button. Using an auto typer when merchanting can help big time, because when you merchant you're constantly typing the same thing over and over again. Using an auto typer responsibly, meaning not using it every second, you won't be banned and you won't have to type. I suggest pushing the button to relay a message once every 5-6 seconds.
There are two different auto typers that I know of that work and are convenient for this particular use.
This is an awesome program that you will need, and you wont get in trouble unless you use it like a moron and get caught. Its an awesome auto typer. So you for instance make a short key that says: White:Selling Dharok Plate - 1.1M - Mad.
Then you set the shortcut to * or / or something not ever used (dont use digits, its not useful.) Then, everytime you hit the key * or / it will automatically type what you wrote in. And you just click enter.
Another great Auto typer taken right from our very own AutoFighter.net website. This auto typer was made solely for one use: RuneScape. It has each indivual color and text-action feature, and it has it's own timed features as well. You simply go to: "Add New Message" and you select the color and action, if any, that you want. Set the time, and press "Go!".
Making the Cash!
So now that you have your cash, the first thing you gotta do is scope out the place. You have to see specifically what buyers are buying for, and what buyers are selling for. This is what alot of people fail to realize: Just because people are selling for that price, doesn't *always* mean it's a firm price. So say someone is selling Full Dharok's for 3.7M. Well then you go stand a few squares over and use your auto typer to say: "Buying Full DH - 3.5M - [your name]". Do that once every 5 seconds until someone desperate enough will come over to you and buy it. Usually when you merchant, you want to find an easy price to sell for, and then you want to bid 100k less then that when you're buying.
Once you've boughten your, again for example, full dharoks, you can now attempt to sell. You may either log into the forums, or you can stay there with your auto-typer. Either way, you're gonna make money with hardly any effort. All you gotta do is find a price people are selling for, and buy 100k-200k less than that. Merchanting takes patience, not effort. Once you buy all you gotta do is sell for the easy price of 100k-200k higher then you bought it for.
Tada! 100k or 200k in about a minute or two.
Some Tips
Make sure you dont buy an item after you have already seen it sold for way less.
Don't automatically reject people offering items, usually they will offer a lot more than what the item is worth because they have been rejected so many times, I have actually had people buy a 1.9 mil whip for about 2.5 worth of items. Its only about 15 extra minutes to sell the items. If you can't sell them for that much, lower the price, and keep lowering.
Sometimes I take out 4 mil or so out of bank, then I buy items, and don't put them back into bank. When I sell the items, I can know automatically if I am going to get more or less than 4 mil for it. And that way I can go really fast and know if I should accept or decline a trade.
