Make Millions on Runescape: Hunting Implings

Have you ever wondered how people can manage to make millions of RuneScape GP with barely any effort? Using the Hunter skill, you can use this method to do just that! This guide will show you a "secret" place where you can easily find rare implings, including the Dragon species.

Required: 62+ Hunter (83+ Hunter is highly recommended in order to hunt Dragon implings), butterfly net (magic butterfly net is highly recommended), bind/snare/entangle runes (whatever you have highest level for), Book o'piracy (to talk with the pirates on Mos Le'Harmless), and the completion of the Cabin Fever quest (to access Mos Le'Harmless).

Good World(s): You will be switching worlds fairly often.

Not long ago, Jagex released the skill Hunter. Few people have found out how to make millions from the skill. After reading this guide, you'll have the knowledge on how to make up to several million Runescape gold in no time! And no, I'm not exaggerating.

You will need at least 83 Hunter to make the most money you possibly can though. If you have at least 80 Hunter, you can drink a hunter potion to boost your Hunter level by 3 temporarily. Alternatively, you can summon certain creaturesif you have at least 57 Summoning. These familiars will boost your Hunter level by 5-7, depending on the one you choose.

Once you have the Hunter level you need, head to Mos Le'Harmless. This island is full of Ninja, Magpie, and Dragon implings! Just be sure to bring along the items you need to catch implings on the island.

Now that you're on the island, stay near the Cave Horror dungeon on the map without actually entering the cave. Look closely for any implings in the area. If you see a Dragon impling and have the Hunter level you need to catch it, bind/snare/entangle it, and catch it with your butterfly net. And there you have it; you've just made about 473K GP based on the Grand Exchange (as of August 2008)! If you see a Magpie or Ninja impling, follow the same steps and you're on your way to becoming a Runescape millionaire in no time!

If you do not see anymore implings on the island, quickly change worlds and repeat what you've done to catch the last impling. Once again, this method can earn you up to several million RuneScape GP in a single hour!

This guide is just...stupid. Why hunt for imps these days?

Better is nat crafting.

It's really all up to you. If you can get at least one dragon impling in each world, hunting is definitely more profitable than making double nature runes.

CORRECTION: Summoning the mentioned familiars only provide an invisible Hunter bonus (more accurate hunting). This means you can only use Hunter potions to actually boost your Hunter level. I'd like to thank Inuashakent for correcting me about this.

Really? When I went searching for implings, I had an easy time finding them as long as I kept changing worlds.

Besides for Mos Le'Harmless, here are some other hot spots* for implings (including dragon implings):

- Road intersection south of Falador
- Hunter area near Picatoris Fishing Colony
- Around the Champions' Guild
- Around the city of Canifis
- Around the city of Burthorpe
- Puro-Puro (Crowded)

*Credits to PR0 6AM3R for the hot spots information.
