Ok, when you pk, keep in mind that you do not want to take anything you don't want to lose, into the wild with you. So, if you aren't willing to lose full rune or your rune 2h, don't take it along with you! So with that down, I think we can continue with the guide. Note: I am not going to delve into the matters of pking in members worlds, only about non-members.
Remember that the better your armor and your stats, the better your chance of survival. So if you bring along full rune, you probably won't get killed as fast as you would with full monk. Just a good thing to keep in mind!

Ok, let's begin! Choose a spot to start at, either Varrok Wild or Edgeville Wild. I prefer Varrok because I can stick to the coastline way to the edge and I can work my way up to Greater Demons and come back around to stop at the dark warriors Castle. I can then wait it out there for any players to come by. If you don't want to risk it that deep, stick to places near the low level wilds where it's multi-combat so that, if you have buddies, you can get help from them. Ok from here on out, it's all dependent on your skill, level, and food. Normally, you'll have to wait it out at a place to wait for other players to come by. I recommend that you stick to the castle, hill giants, bandit camp, and the Varrok wilderness. These areas are multi-combat, and they draw many people there.
When you choose a spot, make sure that your food is in check, your friends are all within reach, and that you all have an escape plan. Normally, my friends and I scramble if a person 30 lvls higher than us is attacking us. That's the main plan normally because messing with really high lvls means that you're dealing (possibly) with a person that probably has other high lvl friends who are most likely gonna kill you once you try to run. Also if a group larger than yours arrives, either: Proclaim a truce, fight it out, or (the smart thing) run away and change worlds.
Once you kill someone, you should stop by the bank to drop off the loot and replenish your supplies. It gets really irritating when you killed someone and you get killed 4 seconds later by another group of people. Also, don't forget that there is a spot on the far coast of the wilderness where you can catch lobsters and swordfish. So it's possible to stay in the wild a long, long time without buying more food at the bank.
Well, I hope this guides given you some basic knowledge about the wild. Thanks for reading, yours truly, sir_tayza. Oh and look out for next installations in my Runescape Guides!
