Since you can't have drop parties by dropping the items, you must hold them at Party Pete's Falador Party Room. It is located north-east of the Falador East Bank:

In here, there is the main floor, where the drop parties are held. There is a table in the middle where you can have dancers and singers perform for you, there is a chest where you deposit your items and Party Pete. On the second floor, there is a bar where you can purchase different types of ales. To have the dancing nights perform on the centre table, you must pull the lever of the east wall, near the party chest. To drop the items in the chest, you must pull and choose to drop the items. The Dancing knights cost 500 gold pieces and the drop party costs 1,000 gold pieces.

The Party Chest

The party chest is a famous chest; there have been hundreds of millions worth of items and cash in that chest. Here is a picture of the chest:

Inside the chest:

When you have the items you want to deposit, click on them in your inventory. They will appear on the bottom line near the “Accept” button. Once you have all your items there, click the accept button. *WARNING: once you click the accept button, you can not take the items out, so only deposit items that you are sure you want to be entered*. Once the items have been deposited, they will appear on the left side of the screen, under “Items ready to be dropped”. This is where all the items deposited will be until someone pulls the lever. Once someone pulls the lever, the items will be moved to the right side of the screen. There will be a timer on when the items will be dropped, which will be explained further down. After the timer is up, the items will start to drop in no specific order. If you have a large amount of an item, they will be dropped separately. Example, if you deposit 1,000 gold pieces, the whole 1,000k won't fall at once, maybe they will drop 100gp first, then another 752 gp, and then the rest, it is all randomized.

Balloon Bonanza

The items aren't just dropped by NPC's, they are dropped by balloons. Once you pull the lever, balloons will start to fall from the sky. The items will be inside the balloons. Not every balloon will have something inside. You have to pop the balloons to see what's inside. Here is what this would look like:

Once all the balloons have fallen, start popping them to see what's inside, you might get lucky.

Nightly Dance

The nightly dance only costs 500gp, and is very humorous to watch. When you pull the lever, knights appear and start dancing, here are some pictures:

This only lasts for a few seconds, so you better enjoy it while you can!

The Announcing

After the lever is pulled, the total prices of the items are calculated, and the announcing starts.

-When the total price is between 0 and 50,000gp there are no announcements but a ten second delay.

-When the total price is between 50,001 and 150,000gp the Falador Bankers and the Party Room Barmaids announce and there is a 60 seconds delay.

-When the total price is between 150,001gp and 1,000,000gp the Falador women, men, banker and barmaids announce and there is a five minute delay

-When the total price is over 1,000,000gp, Falador women, men barmaids, guards and almost every banker in Runescape will announce, and the bankers will offer free teleports to the Party Room, there is a ten minute delay

Arranging the Drop Party

Arranging a drop party doesn't have to be a chore, it can be fun! There are different parts of arranging the party, and here they are.

The Items

To have an excellent drop party, you must have good items. First, set yourself a price that you can spend, once you have that price, try to stick to it, and try not to go under or over. It is important to have a range of items, do not have pointless and cheap items such as needles, buckets, pots, newcomers' maps and other items that you can easily purchase at general stores. Here are some items that are good to have: basic and other runes, rune armour set(s) & rune weapons, adamant armour & weapons, lobsters, swordfish, all arrows, green d'hide sets, ores, bars, cash, enchanted necklaces and any other item you think is good. Remember, you don't have to have these items if you can't afford them. Also, try to get some small party items such as different ales, pizzas, stews, 6000 needles (just because they are fun to get) and other items that can be cool.
