Step 1: first go to the archery emporium in catherby and buy lot's of the arrowheads you want to use (mith arrow heads if you want to use mith arrows) then go to the bank in seer's village and take out the trusty bronze axe.
Step 2: go and chop down normal tree logs and store 2 or 3 inventories into your bank. Then when you are done go and get them out. Buy a knife from a player for about 40 gp or if you want one quickly 1 k.
(Of course if you have one it makes life easier)
Step 3: then go and get feathers by going down to the chicken coop near the end of the flax place. The chickens drop 5 - 15 feathers every time. Then go back to the bank and use the feathers on the arrow shafts first, then the heads.
Step 4: next go up the path near Sinclair's mansion to relleka and go to the grey beaches. Train on the rock crabs there and I guarantee you, you will gain ranging levels like no tomorrow.
