Find monsters that are a little lower than your level, if you are just starting out you can train on the goblins that are north of the Lumbridge castle.
If you are level 6 or higher (not hard to do) go to the Barbarian Village. It's the town west of Varrock that has a bunch of level 10s walking around. Anyway, in the center of the town there is a hole. Go down the hole and then head south through the Gate of War, you'll be asked a question, answer it, go through and you should find yourself in a room full of goblins. now get to work killing goblins. Sometimes they drop bronze full helms which sell for 14-28gp each. When you don't have anymore room for anymore helms go back out the door you came in through, up the ladder and into the house near the hole with a guy inside named Peska, trade all your helms to him for $$$. As you get higher levels you can go farther into the Stronghold and eventually get the rewards. There are 4 levels in the Stronghold.
if you want to make money, get your minig up to 20 at the Dwarven Mines (NorthEast of Falador) while you get your mining level up you can train on the level 10 dwarves. After you get your mining up to 20 go out to Al-Kharid and go North until you get to the mine. There you can mine silver And while you wait for silver you can train on the scorpions. Then go to either the Furnace and Smelt the silver into bars or go sell the ore at the store.
(Not recommended until you are at least level 35) A great way to make money AND get your Prayer up is to go to Varrock, then go out through the west and go directly north. After a while you will get to a graveyard, go NorthEast around the graveyard until you see skeletons. Among there are Big Bones which give you 15 prayer xp instead of 4. Attack the skeletons and pick up Big Bones, then either go back out of the wild and bury the Big Bones or go to a town and sell them for 100g each.
Another way is to do quests! Vampire slayer, Demon Slayer, and Dragon Slayer all give you plenty of xp.
I made one mistake, when you leave Varrock to go into the Wild, don't go north. Go to Barbarian Village, Then go north east. It's not too hard to find.

i know they're (r4p... these aren't my best tips... go get your woodcutting lvl to 60 and cut and sell yew... get fishing and cooking and fishing up to 40 and selling lobbys, or you can go pking and get the stuff people drop... i was testing this website to see if i like it.

ok...As far as this guide goes...To me it only seemed helpful until about lv 40...I know its probably designed for lower lv characters, But lobbys and rune ess so far seem to be the way to go, at least until you can be bothered training which can get very tedious. Feathers are fairly easy to get and you only need 37k exp to get to lv 40 from level one! as for ess mining, just a simple quest and a pick is required to beguin. A bit more work for p ess, but still not much.

I forgot to tell you. My huge and powerful Ice dragon, Excalia, lives with me except she lives on the far north west part of the island and if you go even 600 blocks near her, in which you cannot see anywere near her cage. She will apear out of nowwhere and you will not even have a change of escape. She is a level 114 and she will kill you with one move. So don't bother attacking back. Also she disables any runes and also teleports. So Don't bother. My evel sister also controls all of the poison waste south west of Castle Wars. Don't fall in otherwise you'll die.

Hey if u realy wont to make good money u can get your minnin lvl up until u can mine gold. then go to the island and keep going north untill u see a volcano go inside and right in front of u is 4 things of gold. mine until u get full. and i fu wont to train there is mosters to kill for all lvls in there.Like i sed, when u get done teleport home and put it in your bank. then keep doing that. if u get one envatory full of it, u can sell it for like 15k, and it dont take long to mine. my user name is 0ghoste0 im a lvl 53 a good way to make money is to go to fist of guthix and train you magic until you can do high lvl alchemy then buy a rune medhelm and use it on that. you gain at most 8k every time

If U wanna get more exp. get a brass key at the GE (Grand Exchange). And Go Directly towrds Barrbarian Village Dont cross the bridge. Then go directly North Then U will see a small house with a ladder in it. Use the key to unlock it and go down the ladder. Then go and kill The Giants And pick up the big bones and Limpwuroot. Then Go back to the GE And sell it Limpwuroot Sells about 800GP Big Bones 400GP. By the way Ima Level 138 OHHHHH I BEAT THAT LEVEL 130. HA HA HA.

Anyway, I'm a poor noob and its always so hard to make money for myself.Just like Whoopa said up there ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ it gets harder to make good money when your higher. I used to have a lot of money but i wasted it and lost it. Oh and Connomatic yesterday i added you and you wernt on AND your on a mem world where non mems can't get help OR money from you.

Runescape is a great game for free..we all start low lvl and build up our combat and skills as high as we can.. all while trying to make good money..and having to listen to alot of blaggers and braggers calling eachother noobs..im a high lvl but whats the point of braggin and lookin like a mug while doin it. We all start somewhere so who cares how high or low level anyone is. It means nothin unless runescape is your life. Mugs.
Mining: Mine and drop iron non stop till hit 60. (Find a less busy world and a place with 4 or more iron rocks around you) Once 60 mine coal at the guild (59 in the guild if you drink the mining beer -forget its name- before entering) till your 80 and sell it all. You make a serious amount of money. (long but worth it) Unless you want to sell as you mine.
Fishin: Fish lobs and sell em raw for good money. Raw is good for money and quicker leveling as you dont have to waste time cookin. (With the 3rd explorer ring it will more than half your time for the trip to the bank and save 30coins at a time) 3k raw lobs sell for over a mill depending on G.E prices.
My 2 best tips for f2p for fast xp and money.
